I have decided to leave facebook behind for the weekend along with my mobile phone. I think that when you haven't seen a loved one for some time full attention is needed.
This may be difficult as i am a facebook of adict of sorts since i lost my job but i will strive to do my best. I wish to enjoy the delights of lazing around with scott and the beautiful meal in a resturant he has booked for tomorrow.
This week i did go to see Alice in wonderland in 3D but i will review that next week when i have more time to give and my brain is less fuzzy from excitement!!!

Withnail and I: a fantastic film
Withnail and I is a British black comedy film made in 1986 by HandMade Films. Written and directed by Bruce Robinson, it is based on his life in London in the late 1960s.
Well what a film! Till today i hadn't even heard of this film and now it is on my top ten film list. The wit throughout this film is fantastic keeping me laughing throughout.
Richard E Grant plays the role of withnail fantastically with a real believability about him. The film evoked many emotions for me and i did feel very sorry for Paul McGann's character 'I' especially during the comic infatuation of uncle Monty. The humour within the film is obvious and subtle at the same time leaving the viewer with an ultimate desire to repeat funny quotes from the film.
Essentially this film is a classic Black comedy that is timeless. The characters are real and that is why they are so humorous. I was left feeling happy and satisfied with the film which meant a good ending, i cannot abide a film that doesn't have a finality about it. It also left me with some awesome quotes and some that will create curiosity and laughter as i post them as my facebook status.
Overall i would recommend anyone to watch this film it is a cult classic and it should be acknowledged for what it is.

First Blog post and breakfast
Well this is my first blog post and i have no idea if anyone will actually read it but who cares hey!! In the future my blog will be containing book and film reviews by me although the film reviews will not necesarily be new films as i am unemployed at the moment.
Today though i want to give you something to think about that has been plaguing me for the last few days:
Why to we eat sweet food for breakfast?
I don't understand this, we are all conscious of our health these days and the health of our teeth so why do we feed children cereal that is full of sugar? This is only likely to make them hyper at school and rot their teeth. Jam is another example of this as it is full of sugar.
Now don't get me wrong here people i am not the sugar police i love sugar :-) but surely sugar for breakast isn't a good idea, at somepoint in the day you are going to crash and burn looking for you next sugar fix.
So let me know your opinions as for me i would much rather eat a traditional German breakfast.
